The great Work of Reparation is the Holy Face Devotion which will free us from the slavery of revolutionary men.
God is angry with the world chiefly because of sins against the first three commandments.
These of sins of idolatry, irreverence, and blasphemy have brought punishment upon the world which is now being enslaved by revolutionary men, anarchists, freethinkers, and communists.
Sometimes God punishes the world using the elements, such as the great flood or the locusts in ancient Egypt, but this time He will use the malice of revolutionary men.
Jesus does not wish the death and destruction of the sinner but instead desires his conversion.

In the 16OOs France was the most powerful nation in Europe and was ruled by Catholic monarchies. It had great power, wealth, and influence. It was the European center of culture and the arts, it had the largest population, and thus, the largest army. France was to be the place where the revolutionaries had chosen to ignite their plan to destroy all the Christian monarchies of Europe, and their archenemy, the Holy Roman Catholic Church.

For the backdrop to this amazing revelation, we must go back to 16th century France to learn about the Sacred Heart devotion and the promises of Jesus told through the revelations of a mystic nun.
There is a strong connection between the devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Both occur in France, both deal with revolutionary men, and both are one century apart.
SAINT MARGARET MARY ALACOQUE (1647-1690)
Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque was a French Visitation nun and mystic whom Jesus chose to spread devotion to His Sacred Heart as a means of saving France from revolutionary men.
To pay homage to the Heart of Jesus is to accept the Cross, to seek out the Cross, to die to the world upon the Cross. This can only be done through love—and through love of Love Itself.
In her day Love was no longer loved.

In the year of Our Lord 1689, St. Margaret Mary travelled to Versailles to visit King Louis XIV (the Sun King), the most powerful Christian monarch in Europe, to give him a simple warning, that he should consecrate his entire nation of France to His Sacred Heart and to build a chapel where His Sacred Heart could be adored. He was told by doing so, France’s glory would be magnified. France had a Christian culture a huge, powerful army, which at the time, remained undefeated. He chose to ignore this command.
He said, “Make known to the eldest son of My Heart,” speaking of the King, “that his temporal birth was obtained through devotion to the merits of my holy childhood, in the same manner he will obtain his birth of grace and eternal glory by the consecration that he will make of himself to my Adorable Heart, which wishes to triumph over his heart and by his mediation over the great ones of the world. It wishes to reign in his palace, to be painted on his standards and engraved on his arms, in order to render his victorious over all his enemies.”

To save France from her enemies
To correct the spirit of pride found in Jansenism.
To give divine illumination to King Louis XIV to correct his guilty love affair.
5 POINTS OF THE ACT OF CONSECRATION TO THE SACRED HEART
Jesus offered the King of France the opportunity to prevent his country falling into the hands of revolutionary men. France was called to consecrate herself to the Sacred Heart. This image contains the 5 points of the Act of Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Jesus wished the King of France to do three simple things:
- Engrave the Sacred Heart on the weapons of France.
- Fly His Sacred Heart as a standard everywhere in the Kingdom.
- Make a solemn act of consecration on behalf of France to the Sacred Heart after the Offertory at Mass in the hands of the celebrant and to repeat the consecration each year.
JESUS REVEALS HIS LOVE FOR FRANCE
Jesus explained to Sister Margaret Mary Alacoque of His great love for France, the Eldest Daughter of European Christianity.
France was on the brink of revolution and God was about to punish her for her sins.
The Sacred Heart devotion makes reparation for coldness, lack of charity, and indifference inside the fold; whereas the Holy Face devotion makes reparation for insults and blasphemy of those who remain outside the Church.
THE HOLY STANDARD OF FRANCE
France always had a holy standard which was kept at the sanctuary of Saint Denis, the first bishop of France. It was used when the French monarch led the army into battles. St. Joan of Arc was given a standard of this kind.
If the King of France had acted promptly on the request of Jesus, France would have been spared the French Revolution.
By the time King Louis IVX eventually made the Act of Consecration of France to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, it was too late. The National Convention had already become the governing body of France and he was no longer the head of state.

THE REIGN OF TERROR ON CATHOLIC FRANCE
Exactly 100 years to the day of St. Margaret Mary’s warning to King Louis XIV, the French Revolution broke out in France and his grandson, King Louis XVI, was publicly beheaded by guillotine.
France failed to heed this call and now it seems every nation is under the rule of atheistic communism and revolutionary men.
THE FRENCH REVOLUTION – 1789
Unfortunately for France, and consequently the rest of Europe, the neglect of the French monarchy to arm themselves with the weapons and standards of the Sacred Heart of Jesus would cause the destruction of the monarchy and the attempted destruction of the church by the hands of the revolutionary men.
THE VENDEE
The brave Vendee fought against the French Revolutionaries by making standards of the Sacred Heart and engraving it on their weapons.

THE HOLY FACE DEVOTION AS REVEALED TO SISTER MARIE OF ST. PETER
In the year 1843, Jesus revealed to Sister Marie of Saint Peter, a Carmelite nun in Tours, France, His desire to establish devotion to His Holy Face as the means to save society from revolutionary men. These revelations are very militant in tone and content because they are the blueprint to counterattack the world revolution.
SAINT MARTIN OF TOURS AND SISTER MARIE OF ST. PETER
Sister Marie of St. Peter was born on October 4th 1816 in Rennes, France. She had a call to enter Carmel. Her confessor gave her permission to enter the Carmelite convent in Le Mans, but unfortunately there was no room. So, Sister Marie prayed at the chapel of St. Martin one day when his relics were exposed, she kissed them fervently and placed her vocation under his patronage and asked to be received as a religious in his diocese.
SISTER MARIE OF ST. PETER ENTERS CARMEL
Sr Marie of St. Peter left the secular world to enter a Carmelite convent on November 11th, 1839, the Feast Day of St. Martin of Tours. She stated she at once felt at home.
Saint Martin recruits the mystical defenders of the Holy Name of God and the pioneers of the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face of Jesus.
Venerable Leo Dupont, the great miracle worker and advocate of the Holy Face Devotion, was born in Martinique, an island named after St. Martin of Tours.
The deathbed wish of Ven. Leo Dupont’s wife, was to have their daughter educated in Tours, where he later finds the relics of St. Martin of Tours.
Sister Marie of St. Peter prayed at the chapel of St. Martin, kissed his relics and made St. Martin the patronage of her vocation.
Sister Marie enters Carmel in Tours on November 11th, the Feast Day of St. Martin.
THE CHAPLET
THE CHAPLET OF THE HOLY FACE
On November 15, 1843, Sr Marie of St. Peter was given the Holy Face Chaplet from Jesus to honour the five sense He suffered in His life and to honour the three years of His public life.
Psalm 67 is repeated 33 times in this chaplet, requesting that the enemies of God and that, by His Face, they melt like wax.
Jesus told Sister Marie: “Apply yourself diligently to honour my Sacred Heart and also the Heart of My Mother. Never separate these two hearts. It is my desire that you pray these two hearts for yourself and for sinners. I in turn will forget your past faults and furthermore I will grant you ever more graces than before because you are now more completely united to me through your vows”.

Jesus gave her a special prayer to make reparation for blasphemy and profanation of Sundays. She was told this frightful sin wounds His divine heart more grievously than all other sins; by blasphemy the sinner curses Jesus to His Face and attacks Him publicly. By these actions, the sinner pronounces his own judgement and condemnation. The special prayer is known as the Golden Dagger, also known as the Golden Arrow prayer.

The Golden Arrow prayer is the sharpest and most powerful of all our arrows. Sister Mary of St. Peter saw in a vision that this Golden Arrow had the power to wound the Heart of Jesus “delightfully”.
Our Lord revealed to her the inseparable connection in honouring His Holy name through the Golden Arrow prayer and in venerating the Holy Face of Jesus.

The Golden Arrow prayer brings us closer to Christ by helping to make amends for the many insults He suffers on a daily basis. Sister Mary called this prayer: “an Act of Praise that our Lord Himself dictated to me, notwithstanding my unworthiness for the reparation of blasphemy against His Holy Name”.

THE WORST PUNISHMENT FROM GOD
The worst punishment God can inflict on the world is to take away our religion. Many souls have now left the church, which is shrinking at an accelerating rate. “Oh, if you only knew their secret and diabolical plots and their anti-Christian principles! They are waiting for a favourable day in order to inflame the whole country. To obtain mercy, ask therefore that this Work of Reparation be established”.
COMMUNISM – THE SWORN ENEMY OF CHRIST AND HIS CHURCH
“He has commanded me to cross swords with the Communists who, as He told me, were sworn enemies of the Church, and of His Christ. He gave me to understand that the greatest number of these renegades were born in the bosom of the Church, of whom they now declare themselves the most bitter enemies…’
The Communists of France were the quintessential traitors of the Catholic Church, as they grew up in the shadow of her great European cathedrals and mocked the lifesaving faith she taught to her subjects.
Sister Marie received the battle plan from God to make a counter revolt in the form of a mystical combat.
MYSTICAL COMBAT OF THE HOLY FACE
“I hold you in my hands as an arrow, now I will shoot forth my arrow upon my enemies. To combat them, I give you the arms of my Passion, my Cross, of which thy are enemies, as also to other instruments of my sufferings. Wage war against them with the simplicity of a child but with the courage of a valiant warrior. Victory is possible if we live out the work of reparation. St. Veronica is the role model for women by soothing His Holy Face, and Saint Dismas, the Good Thief, is the model for men by defending Our Lord publicly.
We must mount an army and beg the Blessed Virgin Mary with confidence to be our 12-star general. She is the general of the armies of God, more terrible than an army set in battle array!

THE POPE FLEES ROME FROM THE REVOLUTIONARIES
1848 – THE POPE FLEES ROME
In 1848, following the riots during the Roman Republic that resulted in the killing of the prime minister of the Papal states on 24th November 1848, Blessed Pope Pius IX was forced to secretly flee from Rome to take refuge in Gaeta, southern Italy.
In January 1849, the Holy Father, from his exile in Gaeta, ordered public prayer to be offered in all the churches of Rome to implore God’s mercy on the Papal States. Complying with the Pope’s orders, Veronica’s veil was exposed for public veneration.

THE PUBLIC MIRACLE ON THE VEIL OF VERONICA
The year after the death of Sister Marie, in 1849, Pope Pius IX had the relic of Saint Veronica’s veil displayed for public veneration in Rome.
On the 6th of January 1849, the third day of a three-day exposition, an unusual prodigy took place. The veil had been displayed with a piece of silk placed in front of it. Miraculously, the Divine Face appeared on the outer veil of silk, which covered the veil making it impossible to distinguish any of the features of the image. The face appeared distinctly, as if living and reduced to the state when He was suffering the passion for the salvation of souls. It was illuminated for a period of 3 hours by a soft light; the features seemed to take on a death-like hue, and the eyes, deep-sunken, wore an expression of great pain. For many days, this miracle was the sole topic of conversation in Rome.
The image of the Holy Face of Jesus appeared on the veil in front of many members of the public who would later provide eye-witness accounts and personal testimonies. They stated the image was not static but appeared to move and radiate light.
The Divine Face appeared on a piece of blank silk covering the true Veil of Veronica. The blank silk took on the bold outlines of our Saviour’s Face during His passion, illuminated by a soft light, coloured in a death-like hue, with eyes deep-sunken, and wearing the expression of pain. Artists were instructed to engrave the image of the miracle and had facsimiles made on silk or linen. These were authenticated by the wax seal of a cardinal as truly being touched to the Veil of Veronica. Many of these engraving were sent abroad, but several were sent to the prioress of the Benedictines of Arras, France. She then sent some of them to Mother Mary of the Incarnation, the prioress at the Carmelite convent in Tours. She would subsequently give two to Venerable Leo Dupont, he in turn would give one to the Nocturnal Adoration Society and he put the other in his drawing room.

One year following the death of Sister Maire of St. Peter and the birth of Communist literature with the publication of Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto, a great public miracle occurred on the true Viel of Veronica in St. Peter’s Basilica.
The timing was no coincidence.
Jesus promises this devotion will: “defeat communism” and “bring salvation to the masses.”

“Think of the outrages inflicted on Me by the Society of Communists, the enemies of the Church and of her Christ! … They have laid their hands upon the anointed of the Lord. But their machinations are vain, their designs shall be foiled. I desire the establishment of the work of
reparation! For it is the Work of Reparation to the Holy Face that will disarm God’s justice.”
Jesus told her that in the future, if people did not repent, then God’s Justice would use the “malice of revolutionary men – that is the Communists” as the instrument of His punishment.
Jesus said the following to Sister Marie of Saint Peter:
“The soldier who knows the object of the way in which he is engaged, aware of the insult offered his Prince, arms himself fearlessly to avenge the affront. Well, my daughter it is the Communists who have dragged me from my tabernacles, profaned and despoiled my sanctuaries, and have even dared to raise their hands against the anointed of the Lord, but their designs shall be frustrated.”
Sister Marie stated, “The instruments which our Lord would use with which to punish the world would not be the elements but the malice of revolutionary men“.
Sister Marie also stated “Then, He told me, that the society known as the Communists had made but one outbreak. They wait but the favourable moment to rouse and inflame. Oh, if you only knew their secret and diabolical machinations, he added. Hence to obtain mercy, ask then for the work of reparation from him who has the right to establish it.” Jesus was referring to the Archbishop of Tours.
The Holy Face Chaplet is most efficacious tool of spiritual warfare to defeat Communism. Communism has infiltrated almost every aspect of our modern culture, in education, politics and even the church. The “grandmother” of all modern man’s ideologies is modernism. Pope Saint Pius X referred to modernism as “the synthesis of all heresies.” Father Carney states “Indeed, one may argue that the Church is to Christ as Communism is to the antichrist.”
God calls modern man to combat Communism with the Holy Face and engage himself in the spiritual warfare of the age. Jesus offers us the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face as the supernatural armament heaven has given man to defeat his enemies.
Jesus revealed
“the arms of His enemies inflict death, but His restore life.”
Souls devoted to the Holy Face are needed to join this fight, which is, according to Pope Blessed Pius IX, destined to save society.
Jesus promises this devotion will “defeat communism” and “bring salvation to the masses.”
Sister Marie frequently recited this prayer:
Eternal Father, to oppose thy enemies, I offer thee the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, and all the instruments of His holy Passion, that thou mayst counteract them by division and discord; for thy well-beloved Son hath said: “Every kingdom divided against itself shall perish”.
Jesus said to Sister Marie:
The soldier who knows the object of war in which he is engaged, aware of the insult offered his prince, arms himself fearlessly to avenge the affront. Well, my daughter, it is the Communists who have dragged me from my tabernacles, profaned and despoiled my sanctuaries, and have even dared to raise their hands against the anointed of the Lord, but their designs shall be frustrated. Have they not committed the crime of Judas! Have they not sold me for silver! This knowledge should not remain sterile in your soul, for I give it to you to help you in combat. Be actuated with a spirit of simplicity, for if you reason too much, you will not be a fit instrument in my hands. Think rather of the glory which the heavenly court will render me for having made use of so worthless a creature in so noble a cause”.
The Veil of Veronica had been preserved in Saint Mary of the Martyrs in Rome, which was previously the Pantheon dedicated to all the Roman Olympic deities.
In 608, Pope Boniface IV purified this pagan temple by consecrating it and dedicating it to the Mother of God. The Veil of Saint Veronica was exposed on May 13th every year on the anniversary of the church In 1625, Pope Urban VIII placed the veil in it’s current location in Saint Peter’s Basilica in the pillar that supports the dome, on the epistle side of the papal altar.
The primary purpose of the Holy Face Devotion is to make reparation for sins against the First Three Commandments of God.

THE POISONED ARROW OF BLASPHEMY
Blasphemy is the abuse of the Holy Name of God, but also includes all attacks against Holy Mother Church.
Our Lord showed Sister Marie how much blasphemy hurts Him. Jesus said: “more grievously than all other sins”. Jesus gave her a visualization of “a poisoned arrow continually wounding His divine Heart.”
Sister Marie stated “He made me understand that this frightful sin more than any other grievously wounds Him. By blasphemy the sinner curses Him to His Face, attacks Him openly, annuls redemption, and pronounces His own condemnation.”
“My Name is everywhere blasphemed! There are even children who blaspheme!”
When we hear words of blasphemy, we should say the prayer:
“Sit Nomen Domini benedictum!”

Profanation of Sundays is the crime of those who do not attend Holy Mass, but also the crime of those who engage in unnecessary work instead of resting and reflecting on God.

The Holy Man of Tours
Venerable Leo Dupont was a very holy man, he was even nicknamed “the Holy Man of Tours”. He was a wealthy lawyer who used to love helping the religious of Tours. He had known Sister Marie of St. peter and had taken her revelations as supernatural. He conducted his business in his drawing room where he had hung a sign which read “Once all business is conducted there is only time to talk of God”.
VENERABLE LEO DUPONT – THE GREAT MIRACLE WORKER
Venerable Leo Dupont was a holy French aristocrat who lived in Tours, France at the time (1844- 1847) during the reported revelations of Jesus and Mary to Sister Marie of St. Peter.
He was born into a wealthy family on the Caribbean island of Martinique. His family was to send him to Paris to study law.
According to Pope Pius IX, Venerable Leo DuPont was perhaps one of the greatest miracle worker of all times.
In his younger years, Leo was known for boxing people on the ear who blasphemed or those who wore provocative clothing at Mass. He later realised that gentleness was a grave from God, so he asked a blasphemer, “My dear man, I will ask you to do me a favour. Either keep silent or strike me a blow on the face”. It was less painful for him to be smacked on the face than hear God’s name spoken in vain.
VENERABLE LEO DUPONT RELOCATES TO TOURS, FRANCE
In 1827, Leo Dupont marries at the age of 30 years.
After graduating, he returned home and married his childhood sweetheart. She died very young, but before she died she implored Leo to have their only daughter be taught by the Ursulines in Tours, as she too was educated there by them. So, Leo respected his wife’s wish and moved to Tours.
After arriving in France, Leo wandered the streets on pilgrimage visiting churches. He visited those churches which were still functioning as well as those in disrepair due to the devastation of the French Revolution.
VENERABLE LEO DUPONT – REBUILDER OF CHURCHES
Leo Dupont spent a considerable amount of his wealth funding the rebuilding of Catholic churches, many of which were damaged or destroyed during the Reign of Terror of the French Revolution.
He was also the financial benefactor of the Carmelite convent in Tours.
He found the relics of St. Martin by asking a woman selling vegetables, where the revolutionaries tore down Saint Martin’s, the most popular pilgrimage site in all of France. The engineers had planned to put a highway directly over his grave, but they missed. After purchasing three properties, involving the archbishop, and showing excavators where to dig, they discovered his relics through a divine manifestation of the hearing of heavenly music.

THE REVELATIONS OF MOTHER MARY OF THE INCARNATION TO VENERABLE LEO
At the end of August 1843, Mother Mary of the Incarnation (Mother Superior of the Carmelite convent in Tours) said to Venerable Leo Dupont, “Mr Dupont, in the last few days something quite unusual has taken place in our Carmel. Sister Mary Pierre tells me that our Lord has given her a special assignment. He told her that He was being gravely insulted by the sin of blasphemy and that He wanted reparation”.
VENERABLE LEO DUPONT MEETS SISTER MARIE OF ST. PETER
Leo was a great benefactor of all the religious nuns in Tours and was a favourite of the Carmelite mother prioress. In 1839, the Carmel of Tours received a very unique novice who would eventually come to know Venerable Leo Dupont, her name was Sister Marie of St. Peter.
Based on her messages, Dupont began to burn a vigil lamp continuously in his house before a picture of the Holy Face of Jesus based on the painted image on the Veil of Veronica.
VENERABLE LEO DUPONT AND THE IMAGE OF THE HOLY FACE
6,000 CHURCH-APPROVED MIRACLES!
He became known as the “Holy man of Tours” because of the many miracles associated with him spreading this devotion. There are over 6,000 Church-approved miracles attributed to an image of our Lord’s Holy Face, which he kept in his possession. It is said that volumes could be published of the miracles that occurred in his room, but for some mysterious reason, not many people know of him, until now!
The miracles were so numerous that Pope Pius IX declared Leo Dupont to be:
“perhaps one of the greatest miracle workers in Church history!”
He had the Vatican-issued Holy Face image mounted on his wall next to an oil lamp which he kept burning day and night. When people told him about their illnesses, he would take oil from the lamp and anoint them, saying this prayer:
“Unctiones sanitates conficiat et perficiat ispe Deus. In nominee Patris…”
(May the Lord himself deign, together with us, to anoint this sick person and to restore him to health. In the name of the Father…).
The very first miracle was a woman named Miss Estelle. After finishing business, she told him of the unremitting pain in her eyes. He encouraged her to pray before the Holy Face and to rub some of the oil from the vigil lamp on her eyes. Once she did that, she was immediately healed of all eye pain. The cure was instantaneous. This was the first of thousands of miracles to come.
For the following 30 years, Venerable Leo Dupont took up the cause to spread the revelations of Sister Marie. There are over 6,000 certified miracles, given by God to prevent the revolutionary men inside the church from condemning the archconfraternity and its future work.
These miracles vindicated Sister Marie of St. Peter, who had been instructed by the secretary of the archbishop of Tours in March 1848 to never speak about her revelations again. Sister Marie died on Saturday 8 July 1848, having suffered pains in her throat, a victim soul for blasphemy.
Msgr. Paul Guerin testified to having himself seen over 6,000 certificates of cures wrought by the virtue of the miraculous oil in this oratory of the Holy Face. It is estimated that Leo Dupont sent out over 2,000,000 little bottles of oil from the lamp of the Holy Face, each accompanied by a letter, to persons who had recourse to his charity.

THE DEATH OF LEO DUPONT
Venerable Leo Dupont died on March 18, 1876, at seventy-nine years old, having peace that the revelations would be made known to the world.
When he was asked if the Devotion to the Holy Face would ever take off, he replied:
“…and what is more my dear, when that happy day dawns, then the light of that candle will become a spark of a chain reaction, spreading, going from one to another, and no power on earth will extinguish it! …because the Saviour promised this to Sister Marie Pierre when He said, “There is about to dawn the most beautiful work under the sun’”.
Following his death, God would use Archbishop Colet to carry the torch of the Holy Face devotion.

ARCHBISHOP COLET ESTABLISHES THE ORATORY OF THE HOLY FACE
Venerable Leo Dupont’s house was converted into the Oratory of the Holy Face by Archbishop Colet who celebrated the first Mass on June 29, 1876.

Archbishop Colet would later unseal the revelations from the archdiocesan archives and became edified by Sister Marie’s life and revelations. He was eager to have the work of reparation to the Holy Face begin and to have her life and revelations published.
PRIESTS OF THE HOLY FACE
Archbishop Colet established the Priests of the Holy Face, a diocesan society of priests who were to reside there under a rule for the purpose of dedicating their lives to the spread of the cult of the Holy Face.
Father Peter Janvier, the director of the Priests of the Holy Face, published the lives of Sister Marie of St. Peter, the Venerable Leo Dupont, and books of the Holy Face and its history.
In 1854, Blessed Pope Pius IX had the three great relics, the Holy Cross, the Sacred Lance, and the Veil of Veronica placed on an altar in the Basilica of Saint Peter’s for five days, the longest the veil was allowed to be on public display in the Vatican Basilica. The Pope wished to signify by this extraordinary favour, the glorious promulgation of the great Mother of God, as she was dogmatically defined to be the Immaculate Conception.

One year later, His Grace petitioned the Holy Father, Pope Leo XIII, that the Confraternity of the Holy Face of Tours be elevated to the status of an archconfraternity. This petition included special recommendations of over fifty prelates, including five cardinals. Pope Leo XIII elevated it to an archconfraternity on October 1, 1885, making it exist in perpetuity.

On the 26 April 1885, St. Therese of Lisieux, her father St. Louis, and her sisters, Marie, Leonie, and Celine, enrolled in the confraternity.
On October 1, 1885, Pope Leo XIII raised the confraternity to the status of a perpetual archconfraternity, to exist in perpetuity and for all countries.
The Church must defend herself by means of reparation, reverence, and reversion.
When Pope Leo XIII established this special devotion as an Archconfraternity, contrary to custom, he immediately established it for the ENTIRE WORLD.
Jesus offers us the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face as the supernatural armament heaven has given man to defeat his enemies.
When members of the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face make prayers and reparations, it is as if they are each like Saint Veronica, breaking through the mob to console the Face of Jesus.
St. Michael the Archangel is the Primary Patron of the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face and of Catholic Arrows lay apostolate.
Saint Michael the Archangel is the defender of God’s honour. God’s name, and His Holy face, which are all one.
He is one of the three patrons of the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face. The three saints of the Archconfraternity are: Saint Michael, Saint Louis IX, King of France, and Saint Martin of Tours.
God calls modern man to combat Communism with the Holy Face and engage himself in the spiritual warfare of the age.
Jesus revealed the following to Sister Marie:
“the more the army of God is augmented, the more the army of Satan would be weakened.”
“the arms of His enemies inflict death, but His restore life.”
Souls devoted to the Holy Face are needed to join this fight, which is, according to Pope Blessed Pius IX,
“Reparation is destined to save society,”

SAINT THERESE OF THE CHILD JESUS AND THE HOLY FACE
On April 26th 1885, St. Therese, along with her father and three sisters, were among the first pioneers to enrol in the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face.
St. Therese of Lisieux was dedicated to the Holy Face Devotion, and it was this devotion which prompted her to take the name: St Therese of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face
Mother Agnes of Jesus, the blood sister of Saint Therese testified before the Apostolic Tribunal during the process of her canonization under oath, “However tender was her devotion to the Child Jesus, it cannot be compared to the devotion which she had for the Holy Face”.
Father Carney wrote “When all the devotees of Saint Therese discover this secret of the Holy Face and how it played such a role in her heroic virtue, many beautiful things will come”.
We must remember that members of ecclesiastical confraternities have the benefit of sharing in the graces of all those enrolled: that includes the Church Triumphant (the souls in heaven), the Church Suffering (the souls in purgatory), and the Church Militant (all living baptized Catholics).
When St. Therese entered Carmel, her sister Pauline (Sister Agnes) had been in the convent for eight years. St. Therese always looked to her older sister for guidance. It was this sister who gave St. Therese her copy of the book The Life of Sister Mary of St. Peter. St. Therese of the Child Jesus loved the book and read it repeatedly. She then felt inspired to take the second subtitle “of the Holy Face”. There are a few similarities between Venerable Sister Marie of St. Peter and St. Therese of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face. Both had great devotions to the Child Jesus, both were repeatedly scolded by the prioress, both studied the manhood of Jesus all the way up to His passion.
When Pauline became prioress, she instructed her sister St. Therese to write her own autobiography called Story of a Soul. This is how we have come to know how tender her devotion was to the Holy Face and the reason for her high degree of sanctity.
One night while asleep, she awoke to a taste of blood in her mouth. She was ecstatic, knowing that her passage to heaven would be soon, as this was a sure sign of tuberculosis. She finished her autobiography and received permission to pin a facsimile of the Holy Face on the curtain of the sickroom. Speaking of the previous night, she said, “I had hoped Our Lord would call me from earth on this wondrous Feast (Transfiguration). I have waited for him all night. Never have I suffered more from temptations against the faith than on this night of the Feast. But I never stopped looking at the Holy Face and making acts of faith!”.
On the 30th September 1897, she died and went to heaven to begin her new mission of doing good upon the earth. St. Therese stated, “I desire to spend my heaven doing good upon the earth”.
As the Archconfraternity grows, St. Therese will enlighten mankind with the secret of the greatest devotion that will ever be given from heaven, the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face. Then we will see how the Holy Face of Jesus can destroy the most insane enemy known to man – Communism”.
The Archconfraternity of the Holy Face is the armament heaven has given us to defeat the globalist elites. The system is in place, the stage is set; we need to arise and engage in the battle by enrolling and living out the devotion to the Rosary and the Holy Face of Jesus. The Holy Rosary combined with the Chaplet of the Holy Face will bring down the enemies which surround us on every side.
Oh, that millions would fly the standard of the Holy Face of Jesus, the bearer of victory, to win His favour and to appease the wrath of God.
Sister Marie was asked by Jesus to distinguish the Association of Reparation in Rome from the one in France by having the members promise no manual labour on Sundays. Jesus also stated His desire that the association be placed under the protection of Saint Martin of Tours, Saint Louis and Saint Michael the Archangel. Sister Marie was told that each member was to say a Pater Noster (Our Father, an Ave Maria (Hail Mary) and a Gloria Patri (Glory Be), followed by the Golden Arrow prayer. However, on Sundays, they were to add prayers of reparation.
ST. MARTIN OF TOURS
St. Martin of Tours is one of the 3 Primary Patrons of the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face.
St. Martin was an adversary of the demons. Saint Hilary made him a deacon after he quit the Roman military. Saint Hilary encouraged him to join the priesthood, but his attempts were of no avail because St. Martin felt that he was not worthy enough a become a priest.
St. Hilary appointed him to be an exorcist. He raised three people from the dead and performed so many miracles that he was nick-named a “thaumaturgus”, which means miracle worker. He became a bishop due to popular demand, but this was against his will. He became the apostle of charity and zeal, one of the glories of Christianity, and the special protector of France, along with Saint Denis.

THE CLOSING OF THE PRIESTS OF THE HOLY FACE
In 1877, the anti-clerical republican government won the elections. Over the ensuing years, the situation in France reached a crescendo, so Pope Leo XIII issued a letter on February 16, 1892 to the French Republic called “Allegiance to the Republic”. In this letter he wrote, “Certain men have formed for the annihilation of Christianity in France”. The Holy Father took a central position: “Frenchmen (are) utterly to disregard all germs of political strife in order to devote their efforts solely to the pacification of their country”.
The church attempted to pacify the anti-clerical Republican governments of Europe coming into power. The Priests of the Holy Face were among the casualties of this approach. Anything which appeared novel or overtly pious would attract the attention of the church hierarchy. For political reasons, it was thought expedient to shut down the Priests of the Holy Face. They were accused of doing something novel and were condemned by the Sacred Congregation of the Universal Chair of Rome of the Inquisition on April 19, 1893. The inquisition did allow for devotion according to the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face, but the priests were disbanded. They stated it was not expedient for a group of priests to be arranged to promote the Holy Face with the revelations of Sister Marie of St. Peter.
Our Lord has warned Sister that the demons would instill some with an aversion towards this devotion. Based on Our Lord’s warning, demons may tempt Church members to prevent devotion of the Holy Face of Jesus precisely because it is the most powerful object to fight against modern revolutionary men. Our Lord revealed to Sister Marie of St. Peter that He will bring this work to fruition. He gave us the weapons to triumph over our enemies in our times and he gave us the work of reparation to save our societies. He showed us how the work of reparation to the Holy Face is a blueprint to circumvent and even destroy communism.
1917
FATIMA
OUR LADY OF FATIMA AND THE HOLY FACE DEVOTION
In 1917, Our Lady appeared in Fatima to three children, she asked them:
The great miracle of the sun in Fatima occurred on May 13th 1917. Between the fourth and fifth centuries, the Veil of Veronica was exposed for veneration each year on May 13th.
“Would you like to offer yourself to God to make sacrifices, and to accept willingly all the sufferings it may please Him to send you in order to make reparation for so many sins, which offend the Divine Majesty, to obtain the conversion of sinners, and to make amends for all the blasphemies and offenses against the Immaculate Heart of Mary?”.
The Children of Fatima were told to pray the Holy Rosary and to do Communions of reparation.
The warning of the fewness of those who are saved was reiterated in 1917 when Our Lady at Fatima told three children that souls are descending into hell like snowflakes falling on the ground. There are only two roads when a soul is presented these truths; either dismiss them as fables or adapt one’s life in conformity with God’s plan and stop committing mortal sin. During these apparitions, Our Lady warned us about the dangers of Communism.
As evidenced by public schools and public healthcare, many countries around the world have become atheistic, socialist and communist.
Ronald Regan once stated: “Mankind has survived all manner of evil diseases and plagues, but can it survive Communism?”. He then refers to Communism as a “vicious disease” and added “Communism is neither an economic or political system, it is a form of insanity”.

THE HOLY FACE MEDAL
THE ORIGIN OF THE HOLY FACE MEDAL
The medal of the Holy Face of Jesus was made by Sister Marie Pierina De Micheli, following the request of Jesus and The Blessed Mother.
JESUS TO SISTER PIERINA:
“I will that My Face, which reflects the intimate pains of My Spirit, the suffering and the love of My Heart, be more honoured. He who meditates upon Me, consoles Me. Every time that My Face is contemplated, I will pour My love into the hearts of men and through My Holy Face will be obtained the salvation of many souls.” (Our Lord to Mother Pierina 1936).
Sister Pierina produced the medal after receiving permission from the Curia of Milan, Italy.
OUR BLESSED MOTHER TO SISTER PIERINA:
“This medal is a weapon of defense, a shield of courage, a guarantee of love and of mercy that Jesus wishes to give to the world in these times of sexuality and of hatred towards God and His Church. Diabolical snares are laid to tear the faith from the hearts of men, evil is spreading, the true apostles are few, a divine remedy is necessary and this remedy is the Holy Face of Jesus. All those who shall wear a medal and who make, if they can, a visit to the Blessed Sacrament every Tuesday in reparation for the outrages received by the Holy Face of my Son, Jesus, during His Passion and those He receives daily in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, will be fortified in the Faith, ready to defend it and to overcome all difficulties, interior and exterior. Furthermore, they will have a happy death under the loving gaze of my divine Son.”
Jesus appeared to Blessed Maria Pierina de Micheli, the Superior in a
Daughters of the Immaculate Conception community in Milan, Italy. Jesus had appeared to her previously, but on this First Friday in 1936,
Jesus appeared with His Face covered in blood and He told her:
“I wish that my Face, which reflects the intimate sorrow of my soul, and the suffering and love of my Heart, be better honored. He who contemplates me consoles me.”
In later visions, Jesus said:
“Each time my Face is contemplated I will pour my love into hearts and through my Holy Face the salvation of many souls will be obtained”
and
“Perhaps some souls fear that the devotion to my Holy Face may diminish that to my Sacred Heart. Tell them that, on the contrary, it will complete and increase it. Contemplating my Face, souls will share my sorrows and will feel the need for love and reparation. Is this not the true devotion to my Heart?”
In further visions, Blessed Maria Pierina de Micheli (1890-1945) was asked to make a medal bearing the Holy Face of Jesus. One side has the image of the Holy Shroud of Turin and the words “Illumina Domine Vultum Tuum Super Nos” (May the light of your Face, O Lord, shine upon us). On the other side is an image of the sacred host, and the letters IHS and “Mane Nobiscum Domine” (Stay with us, O Lord).

The Holy Face medal became famous for the many miracles and spiritual favours associated with its use.
Blessed Mother told Sister Pierina:
“Whoever wears this scapular (medal) and, if possible, pays a weekly visit to the Blessed Sacrament on Tuesdays in a spirit of reparation to the Holy Face will be granted the gift of a strong Faith and the grace to fly to its defence conquering if need be all interior and exterior difficulties. Moreover, they will meet their death peacefully, under the loving gaze of my divine son.”
In Our Blessed Mother’s own words, the medal is:
“a weapon for defense, a shield for courage, a token of love & mercy in these troubled days of lust, evil, loss of faith and hatred for God and for His Church.

ST. PADRE PIO AND THE HOLY FACE MEDAL
St. Padre Pio was known to distribute Holy Face Medals.
When he gave someone the medal, he would say:
“This is your entrance ticket to Heaven.”

THE FEAST DAY OF THE HOLY FACE
In 1958, Pope Pius XII approved the devotion and the medal and declared the feast of the Holy Face of Jesus for all Roman Catholics to be the day before Ash Wednesday (Shrove Tuesday).
IDOLATRY, PROFANATION OF SUNDAYS AND BLASPHEMY
God commands us to keep his Holy Commandments. He promises blessings to those who follow them.
We are not to commit idolatry, irreverence, and blasphemy.
The whole world has now heard of Christ, and most have rejected Him, and now we live in a neo-pagan culture. Today’s idolatry is worse because the pagans in the Old Testament did not know Christ, but the pagans of today know Him and reject Him.
Blasphemy is common, even among children and people use God’s name in vain without thinking. Some curse the name of God knowingly.
I will set my face against you, and you shall fall down before your enemies, and shall be made subject to them that hate you, you shall flee when no man pursueth you.
When the Israelites turned to idolatry, irreverence, and blasphemy, they were enslaved by the Egyptians.
Reparation to the Holy Face of Jesus is the answer to idolatry.
Many Catholics are irreverent at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, some without even knowing it. It was by disobedience that the practice of Communion in the hand began. This has now become the norm in most parishes with some priests even refusing communion on the tongue, which is breaking Canon law. This irreverent practice is promoted and encouraged as a way of granting more participation of the laity. People with non-consecrated hands are now distributing Communion.
Father Carney writes: “One of the Holy Face’s secrets is the great length with which Jesus details to Sister Marie of St. Peter in Tours how blasphemy curses Him to His Face, attacks Him publicly, and pronounces the blasphemer’s own judgement and condemnation”.
We are at war and need to engage in a mystical combat. We need to form new pious associations that are free of these radicals and beg God to give us troops, officers, armies and mystical warriors to defend His thrice Holy Name. We need bishops, priests, and the faithful to form pious associations of the faithful with a mind to infiltrate the enemy. We must beg for the Blessed Virgin Mary to he the general of our armies.
Sister Marie of St. Peter made a total consecration to the Holy Face of Jesus, and after that, she received His orders: the revelations of the Holy Face, a blueprint for us to face off with Communism. Let us beg God to help us form leagues, like the League of the Militant Godless, formed by Lenin and Trotsky and tasked with the dissemination of anti-religious propaganda. We need to remove our children from the godless public school system and take back the family and place it under God. We need to take back the right to own property and stop the forced transfer of wealth. But, the most important action we need to take is to make reparation to God by having one million new members added to the Confraternities of the Holy Face so that He will deliver out enemies into our hands.
The solution is to stop fighting at the level of civil war and instead “cross swords in a mystical combat”. The form of mystical combat is detailed in the revelations of Sister Marie of St. Peter, it is explained in the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face and it involves the praying of the holy Rosary as explained by the Blessed Virgin Mary at Fatima. We have to rise above all the insanity and unite on the same team to gain the victory. Sister Marie of St. Peter wrote “He gave me to understand the excellence of the work of the Reparation, how much it surpassed all other devotions”.
The United States is culturally a socialist state and socialism is the last step before extremity of Communism. The revolution has been marching forward from the Fall of Adam and Eve to Cain and Abel, the Deicide of the Jews, the Muslim heretics, the Protestant Reformation, the French Revolution and the ongoing world revolution of Marx and his disciples. The revolution continues to change tactics, but it is still a revolution. It is the children of light against the children of darkness.
Archbishop Fulton Sheen masterfully uncovered their machinations and called out the lie and its children in the system that today we call Communism. This is a revolution against God and God-fearing Catholics. Archbishop Sheen stated “What is the fallacy of economic determinism, which means that economics determines everything? The first fallacy of economic determinism is that Karl Marx, who studied philosophy and should have known better, confused what is known as a condition with a cause. For example, the window is a condition of light, but the window is not a cause of light. We are willing to admit that economics, to some extent, does condition literature and art”. Fulton Sheen also stated “Economics has gone to the head of the Communists like wine to an empty stomach”.
Why are so few churchmen sounding the battle cry as compared to churchmen of an earlier age? The answer is simple: they have been liquidated by the communist machine in the seminaries. Priests are considered liabilities today because economics is the measure for decision making in the Church. Blessed Pius IX, an apostle of the Holy Face, prophesised the ills of Communism before it saw the light of day. In November 1846, in Qui Pluribus, he said it is ”absolutely contrary to the natural law itself,” and if adopted, it would “”utterly destroy the rights, property, and possessions of all men, and even society itself”. Pope Leo XIII, who elevated the Holy Face to an archconfraternity, defined Communism as “the fatal plague which insinuates itself into the very marrow of human society only to bring about its ruin”. God is allowing these revolutionary men to have the upper hand as we continue to commit idolatry, irreverence, and blasphemy in the very sanctuaries of the Catholic Church.
Pope Pius XI called Communism a “deluge which threatens the world”.
We must ask Our Lord to shine His Holy Face on us and on sinners to convert them from blasphemy, idolatry, and irreverence. Communism is the most deadly spiritual cancer, so heaven has warned us and given us the means to destroy it; the Sacred Heart and the Holy Face devotions.
Fulton Sheen stated “When Lenin went into hiding after the July uprising of 1917, he took two books with him: Marx’s Civil War and Klausenwitz’s On War. The first taught Lenin what to do with power; the second, how to conquer power”. Heaven gave us the Holy Face of Jesus in 1848 as the marching orders to destroy Communism; in the same year, Marx gave the world the Communist Manifesto to promulgate insanity. Heaven gave us the warning of Our Lady of Fatima in 1917 to stop the revolution; in the same year, Lenin went into hiding after the July uprising, coming out from his infernal retreat as a puppet of the devil and the general to move the revolution onward. “They have thrown down the gauntlet to the world. The voice is either true brotherhood in Christ or comradeship in anti-Christ”. Those who are with Christ will one day rise with Him into eternal life. Those who place Marx, Stalin, Lenin, or Mao as their saviour are not assured of the final victory; “Take heart that Christ’s tomb is empty, while Lenin’s is not”.
Jesus and Mary have provided the battle plan of the New Crusade:
TOURS
- Enrol in the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face and live out the six conditions, including Consecration to the Holy Face of Jesus.
- Mystical combatants: hurl cross, nails, spear, pliers, reed, crown of thorns, sponge, ladder, hammers, and scourges at the devil. These were used to hurt the Lord in the passion.
- Pray the Golden Arrow Prayer, the Chaplet of the Holy Face, the Rosary Mysteries on the Face of Jesus and Mary, and the prayers from the Manual of the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face.
FATIMA
- Reparation to Mary’s Immaculate Heart.
- Recite the Rosary daily.
- Perform penance in the form, principally, of special care to do well the duties of our state in life.
TRE FONTANE
- Return to or remain in the holy sheepfold, where three white points of peace and unity reign in love:
- The Eucharist
- The Immaculate Mother of the Church.
- The Pope.
- Pray my children. The Hail Marys that you say with faith and love are Golden Arrows that reach the Heart of Jesus.
- Do penances. The penance accepted by the Father is that of love.
The enemy wants to isolate, divide, and conquer us. But we unite around the Holy Faces of Jesus and Mary, the Sacred Heart, and the Immaculate Heart, which are truth and charity. Atheistic Communism advances using the propagation machine. The subjects of Communism become children of darkness and lies. Since heaven knows the spiritual weight of all hell being unchained, Our Lady and the Marian prophets have revealed the blueprint for the triumph of the Church. St. Louis De Montfort teaches us in his book True Devotion that consecration to the Immaculate heart is the shortest, easiest, securest, and most perfect path to Christ. This consecration was reserved for saints in the later times. He also mentions that true devotion to Mary and the Rosary is a sign of predestination.
God loves a good battle, and He has given us the outline to fight Communism, which wishes to enslave the whole world. The sea was used to drown the Egyptian army as it pursued the Chosen People. As the Blessed Virgin is like a sea of grace, she is set about to crush the head of serpents.
The Holy Face was opposed by revolutionary men both from inside and outside the Church. But, the Holy Face will be revived on a grand scale for the triumph of the Blessed Virgin Mary and for her greatest saints to shine in these later times.
Now that Communism is becoming a world power, Our Lord’s desire for the Holy Face devotion to spread is more important than ever before. Father Carney states “If every large city had a Confraternity of the Holy face with over 1 million members, the Face of God would melt the Communists”.
1990
Father Emeric B. Scallan was an American priest who went to receive his eternal reward at the age of 89, on March 27, 1990, in Mansura, Louisiana, USA.
In 1928 was appointed by the Bishop of New Orleans to be the first editor of their diocesan newspaper; this was the beginning of his career in Catholic publishing.
After many years working in the press, he noticed an alarming rise in atheism. After reading numerous published Catholic articles, books, and revelations, he came to the conclusion that:
“the revelations of a cloistered Carmelite Nun in France, by the name of Sister Marie (Mary) of St. Peter, dealt directly with the problem of atheism and restoring peace to this broken world”.
He is one of eleven children. He was the first pastor of Sacred Heart in Pineville which he also helped to build.
Father Emeric Scallan wrote, “It was the Little Flower’s devotion to the Holy Face which drove her to unparalleled heights of sanctity”.
As an avid reader of Catholic books, and dealing with Catholic-related articles every day, his opinion on the significance of the Holy Face Devotion is of significant importance.
Father Scallan became convinced that these revelations, which would become known as The Holy Face Devotion, would provide humanity with a promise and a solution to free them from the slavery of global, atheistic Communism.
2017
THE LEAGUE OF ST. MARTIN
God has a history of using small armies to defeat massive evil empires.
Father Carney’s states he wants to bring 1 million souls to the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face and the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary. He mentions that Blessed Alan de la Roche brought one hundred thousand into the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary. Father states that we have the technology, namely the printing press and social media to make this possible.
Father Carney states, “The triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary might come if we have the humble hearts to inflict life, not death, on the revolutionary men”. “We need to beg God with all our fervour for the enemy to turn their swords on each other!”.
Father Carney states, “God demands courageous soldiers to defend His Holy Name. The Archconfraternity is the weapon of choice in order to save society”.
Father Carney states:
“We need to start with small battalions who make reparations. These small militia must pray for more enlistees in the work of reparation. God has told us how to defeat any enemy who wants us to enslave us; follow His commandments, and He will deliver the enemy into our hands. When we make reparation, it is like sweet smelling incense rising up to heaven. With the help of God, our small battalions will grow; meanwhile, our enemies will begin to fall by the sword of God. We start with five in any town to avert the malice of hundred city leaders. Then, 100 will deter the malice of 10,000, and we will continue to grow until the certain preordained number, determined by God is reached to take down global communism. It may take 1 million grace-filled people making reparation to the Holy Face of Jesus. We should be like St. Joseph and the Blessed Virgin Mary by asking the Father to cast His eyes upon us and expel the demons of Communism, free-thinkers, anarchists, and revolutionary men from our world”.
The world is now being enslaved by revolutionary men, anarchists, freethinkers, and communists. God will deliver us all into slavery if we do not make reparation for idolatry, irreverence, and blasphemy. Reparation is destined to save humanity. If we make reparation for idolatry, irreverence and blasphemy we will overcome our enemies with God’s help.
There is nothing left to do but raise an army of one million and make our cry of reparation rise up to heaven to avenge the affronts levelled against our Father! We have been told how to help save humanity from hell on earth. This is a mystical combat of great proportions for our own salvation and for a life of peace for our children and grandchildren. Let us enroll in this spiritual militia. Take up arms and repair the affronts!

Father Carney has resurrected the Priests of the Holy Face, which was originally established by Archbishop Colet in Tours, France.
The Society of the Holy Face are a Diocesan Society of priests dedicated to spreading the Holy Face Devotion and the intentions of the League of St. Martin (Martinians.org).

THE MISSION OF THE SOCIETY OF THE HOLY FACE
- Associates — Priests who become candidates after the approval of the director for one year. They learn about the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face and pray for the three intentions of the League of St. Martin.
- Chaplains — Priests, who after one year as an Associate petition the Director to become a Chaplain. Chaplains must register in a Confraternity or the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face and the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary continuing to pray for the three intentions of the League of St. Martin
